The written response really emphasizes on the eagerness of women wanting to gain equal right and the painting really expresses that desperation through the pulling strings and hand movement. I love that the drawing, while depicting the social issue, remains abstracted and not representational. A good piece of art doesn't need all the details and nuances but one piece of gem to draw our eyes onto. ”
